Description

Ingredients

  • 500g potato gnocchi
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 50g grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cook gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked gnocchi with the tomato sauce.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and parmesan.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese melts and turns golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
