Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the steak and stir to coat evenly.
- In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water, then add to the skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, marinate the steak in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust honey and brown sugar to control sweetness.
- Serve over rice or with vegetables for a complete meal.
