- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and chicken broth.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a diced jalapeño or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- This chili freezes well for up to 3 months.
- Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, or fresh cilantro if desired.
