Ingredients

Instructions
- Slice the red onion thinly and place it in a jar.
- Heat vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the hot liquid over the onions in the jar.
- Let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
