Description

A simple recipe for chocolate muffins inspired by the Olympics, perfect for a quick treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before serving.
