Description

A hearty and creamy chicken casserole with a crunchy topping, inspired by the famous Neiman Marcus recipe.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, and chicken broth.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Spread mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Combine crushed Ritz crackers, sliced almonds, and melted butter in a bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
