Description
A hearty dish combining meatballs with a creamy stroganoff sauce, perfect over noodles or rice.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into small meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté mushrooms until soft.
- Add flour and stir to coat the mushrooms.
- Pour in beef broth, stirring to avoid lumps.
- Bring to a simmer, then add sour cream, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Return meatballs to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve over noodles or rice.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
