Description

A classic Margherita Pizza with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  4. Arrange mozzarella slices on top.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and add salt if needed.
  8. Slice and serve hot.
