Ingredients

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add butter, milk, egg, and maple syrup. Stir until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle walnuts evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use pure maple syrup for best flavor.
- Replace walnuts with pecans if preferred.
