Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves, garlic, and rosemary.
  6. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
  7. Roast for 1 hour 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
