What’s better than pizza and burgers? This mashup of both! A juicy beef patty topped with pizza sauce, melted mozzarella, pepperoni, and Parmesan all on a toasted bun.
Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
– 1/2 cup pizza sauce
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
– 20 slices pepperoni
– 4 burger buns
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
– Optional: sliced mushrooms, bell peppers
Instructions
1. Mix & Form Patties: Combine ground beef with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Shape into 4 equal patties.
2. Cook Patties: Heat a pan over medium-high. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side.
3. Add Toppings: Top each patty with pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and 5 pepperoni slices.
4. Melt Cheese: Cover the pan for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
5. Toast Buns: Butter the buns and toast in the same pan until golden.
6. Assemble Burgers: Place cheesy patties on buns, add extra pepperoni or sauce if desired, and serve hot.
