Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown meatballs on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer meatballs to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Freeze uncooked meatballs for later use.
