A classic beef stroganoff recipe with tender strips of beef, mushrooms, and a creamy sauce served over noodles.

- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles, cooked
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef strips and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well.
- Return beef to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream. Cook until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Use tender cuts of beef for best results.
- Do not boil after adding sour cream to prevent curdling.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
