- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread in a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Mix flour, oats, and brown sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving.
