A rich and creamy tomato gnocchi dish that’s quick to prepare and packed with flavor.
Ingredients

- 500g gnocchi
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 400g canned tomatoes, crushed
- 200ml heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 50g grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onion. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes.
- Add cooked gnocchi to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs if available for better flavor.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
