Description

A spicy twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring chipotle peppers for a smoky kick.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place one slice, butter side down, in a skillet.
  3. Sprinkle half the cheese on the bread in the skillet.
  4. Spread the chopped chipotle peppers over the cheese.
  5. Add the remaining cheese on top.
  6. Place the second bread slice on top, butter side up.
  7. Cook over medium heat until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of chipotle peppers to control the spice level.
  • Use a non-stick skillet for easier flipping and cleanup.
