Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced (any color)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak into thin strips against the grain.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from pan.
- Add garlic, ginger, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan. Pour sauce over and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Season with black pepper and serve hot.
Notes
- Slice steak thinly for best texture.
- Adjust soy sauce and sugar to taste.
- Serve with steamed rice.
