Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup cold butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F
- Mix dry biscuit ingredients
- Cut in butter until crumbly
- Stir in milk to form dough
- Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet
- Bake 10-12 minutes until golden
- Brown sausage in skillet
- Sprinkle flour over sausage
- Gradually stir in milk
- Cook until thickened
- Season with salt and pepper
- Serve gravy over warm biscuits
