Description

A quick, creamy pasta dish with savory ground beef, garlic butter sauce, and Parmesan, ready in 30 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340g) fettuccine or spaghetti

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 8 cloves garlic (about 3 tbsp minced)

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • ½ cup beef broth

  • ¼ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (+ more for serving)

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 2 cups baby spinach

  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta (reserve 1 cup water)

  2. Brown beef; drain fat

  3. Sauté garlic/onion in butter

  4. Add broth, cream, and beef

  5. Toss with pasta, cheese, and pasta water

  6. Garnish with parsley

  • Substitutes: Ground turkey/chicken, gluten-free pasta, half-and-half for cream
